For Yerdus Nauanov water and graves are important.
Everyone needs each, he says.
Both items have enriched his life.
Water because just a little over a month ago he began plans for his bottled water company called Hallal Su. This month he’s working with an advertising agency to promote his product.
It’s also important because the 32-year-old entrepreneur from Balkhash, Kazakhstan set up a small hotel four years ago on the beach of his hometown’s lake.
As for the graves, the husband and father of two, jokes everyone will need one in the end. But the principal reason is that an ancient tombstone is his evidence that he is a descendant of one of the most revered and feared persons in world history–Genghis Khan.
